From the typically dark and warm heartwood to the lighter character saturated sapwood, our Heartwood Collection reveals up to 50% individually hand-selected character. Attributes include natural color variations, sound knots, worm holes, mineral discolorations and other non-structural type natural characteristics in this popular and this historic series.
Manufactured to order right here at our rural Indiana facility from hardwoods responsibly harvested from well-managed local forests, expertly milled, kiln dried and conditioned to 8% ambient moisture content. Unfinished 3/4″ thick solid wood Tongue and Groove planks are precision milled, back relieved and end matched in long random lengths up to 10′ long, with an exceptionally long 72″ minimum average. Choose from traditional Square or Eased Edge or one of our many decorative edge profiles perfect for wall and ceiling applications. Orders are individually packed 4-6 planks per hand-manageable bundle, nested and banded to a shipping pallet.

In hardwoods, Random Widths offer an eco-friendly choice with the lowest waste to manufacture, the highest yields and value. Aesthetically, Random Widths offer a pleasing appearance that resonates with nature.
Unless otherwise specified, random width T&G planks are mill run – meaning you will receive all three plank widths. We attempt to ship near equal lineal feet, as nature allows. This means each run is unique and may or may not yield equal lineal feet. A width tally report is provided with each order.
