Tiny Timbers offers regional delivery with our own fleet and nationwide deliveries utilizing the services of selected carriers. All products are fully insured during transit. We pass our discounted freight rates directly on to our customers insuring that you get the lowest rates possible.
Most flooring, trim and lumber products are packaged in hand-manageable bundles that are banded to a wooden skid for customer pickup or local delivery on our company trucks. All LTL (less than semi-truck load) common carrier shipments will also be fully crated to protect the shipment during transit.
This is a curbside delivery. The client is responsible for meeting the delivery truck at the prearranged time and for unloading the order from the back of the truck/trailer. Typically, wood items are packed into hand-manageable bundles nested into palletized crates to protect the order during shipment and to allow the safe transfer to the job site.
This is a delivery to a commercial location such as an office building or warehouse that is accustomed to being accessed by semi truck and trailer. No advance notice will be given of arrival and someone must be available to receive and unload the product during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
Lift Gate Service
This is a curb-side delivery. A truck fitted with a Lift Gate will deliver your order to the ground level. This service removes the shipment from the truck but does not include interior delivery of the shipment.
Due to the special crating requirements of the majority of our longer length products, a lift gate delivery option may not be available. If you require a quotation on a service that is not listed or if you have any questions, please contact us.
This is a dedicated truck for quantities of 13,000 square feet or more. Truckload deliveries must have a forklift or loading dock on site. If the materials are being delivered to a job site you will need to make arrangements for a forklift to be present for unloading.
Tiny TIMBERS is a manufacturer & distributor of fine hardwood products and not a shipping company. We can provide shipping time estimates based on the freight calculators provided to us.Generally, transit times within the continental US will range from 1 day in the Midwest to 5+ business days on the West Coast.
If you require the materials to arrive on an exact date or require an expedited shipment you are required to use an exact express service or “guaranteed service” This is a service provided by the freight company at an additional charge to guarantee the transit time quoted. Tiny TIMBERS can not be held liable for delayed shipments that have not been ordered as a guaranteed service. Guaranteed service may not be available in all areas.
You or your assignee must be available to accept the delivery. You will need to unload the materials directly from the truck/trailer. If you are unable to do so please contact us for a Special Service Quotation.
Regulations and liabilities of the freight companies do not permit for special services that are not contracted in advance. Inspect the goods thoroughly for damages. In the unlikely event that there are visible damages make sure that they are noted on the delivery receipt or bill of lading and you are provided a copy.
We cannot accept freight damage claims without this receipt. In the event of hidden damage that is not apparent at the time of delivery, please contact us immediately so we can begin the claims process.
Once your order has been received, transfer any kiln dried wood products to the space where it is to be worked or installed. For solid wood flooring products, allow for the proper acclimation time in accordance with our hardwood flooring guidelines.
