Landing treads are used at the top of the staircase where your flooring meets the first step, on the edge of any landing and balcony in the staircase. Lineal landing treads are grooved to mate with 3/4″ thick T&G flooring on one side and have a 1-1/32″ bullnose on the opposite/exposed side replicating the appearance of a standard tread.
