Base molding is used where the floor and walls meet, forming a visual foundation that is important in establishing the character of a room. Base Moulding should be complimentary to the other room trims and proportionately sized approximately 1/3 larger than the casing (for example: A 3-1/4" casing would be appropriate with a 5-1/4" base mould). Many of our base profiles are available in variable sizes and with matching casings, as individually noted. Decorative plinths, intermittent and inside & outside corner blocks can also used with base mouldings, eliminating the need for mitered cuts. Alternate species available and quoted on request. Due to our diverse offering and customized nature of our mouldings, most profiles are milled to order unless marked as "stock". Stock mouldings and over runs are available without per item minimum footage requirements or setup fees. Please keep in mind that many of our base mouldings may be slightly modified to match an existing pattern. However, if you are unable to locate a particular item, we can affordably replicate an existing profile with just a sketch or sample trim piece. Please contact us with your special requests.
