For those of you who would prefer to forgo the time consuming steps required to finish your hardwood or pine flooring, we are pleased to now offer a pre-finished  alternative.

Our pre-finishing process is perhaps the most modern in the industry, utilizing high performance, environmentally friendly, UV coating technology that meets or exceeds ANSI standards and is completely formaldehyde free with no V.O.C. emissions.

This superior finish provides a durable, virtually maintenance free, lifetime clear, non-yellowing clarity to enhance and protect your beautiful floor for years to come.

Please note that the pre-finishing process requires an Eased Edge profile for the finish to properly "wrap" the plank face.

Please allow an additional 10-15 days average processing time.  We will provide an estimate and current lead-time with your quote or order confirmation.

Pre-finishing includes your choice of sheens from Low Luster, Satin, Semi-Gloss and Gloss. 

Semi-Gloss and A highly buffed gloss finishes will reflect light.

Low luster and satin finishes will deflect direct light. and are more forgiving on the natural characteristics in wood and typically easier to maintain.

PRE-FINISHING SPECIFICATIONS

Great care is taken in milling the boards so that the finish can be applied uniformly, ensuring a smooth, consistent surface.

A first sealer coat of  100% solids, modified Urethane Sealer is applied and semi-cured with UV lamps. 

Then a second coat of 100% solids ceramic modified Urethane Sealer is applied and fully UV cured.

This sealer coat is now finely sanded and coated with two more clear finish coats of 100% solids, ceramic modified urethane and again fully UV cured, completing the process.
